Shred Day

On April 16, 2011 there will be four locations for individuals and businesses to shred paper and private documents free of charge. The locations are in Little Rock, Arkansas at the Better Business Bureau state office, Russellville, Arkansas at Kubota Tractor,  Conway, Arkansas at the Bear's Den Exxon on the corner of Dave Ward and Salem Road, and in Quitman, Arkansas at Nestlehut Insurance, 5724 Heber Springs Road N, Qutiman, AR.  The Point 94.1 FM radio station will promote this event and everyone is encouraged to bring all unwanted documents to be shreeded.

At Nestlehut Insurance in Qutiman, KFFB 106.1 will be broadcasting live and serving free hot dogs.

There will be Public Service Announcements in the Van Buren County Democrat, Clinton, Arkansa, Arkansas Sun Times of Heber Springs, Arkansas Democrat Gazette in Little Rock, and the Log Cabin Democrat of Conway.  Also, listen to KFFB 106.1, KHPQ, 92,1, Clilnton, Y107, Conway, and KWCK, 99.9, Searcy for Public Service Annoucnemtns as well.

Almost 30 tons of documents were shredded in the Fall of 2010.  One man even brought in a U-HAUL truck to the BBB location in Little Rock. Identy theft is a crime opprotunity and the Better Business Bureau and its members are doing all it can to help that it does not happen to you. So again, I encourage you to bring all unwanted documents that you want shredded to one of these locations on Saturday, April 16, 2011 from 10am -2pm.
